Young Survivors

(45 years old and younger, or ladies who have school-age kids)

According to The American Cancer Society: "You should start having mammograms at age 40. That leaves little testing for Breast Cancer for younger ladies.”

“Young women diagnosed with Breast Cancer often feel isolated and have little contact with peers who can relate to what they are experiencing.”

“Breast Cancer is not very common during pregnancy, but as more women choose to have children later in life (the risk increases with age), it is expected to become more common in the future." --ACS
